Bradstone Driveway Infilta Permeable Block Paving Charcoal
Bradstone’s unique Infilta technology allows a flood of water to quickly drain into a block paved surface and reduces the risk of flooding your home. This can prove to be an invaluable feature if you live in a flood prone area and could be recommended by home insurance providers.
Water is able to penetrate the permeable surface through the extra large joints between blocks, which are formed due to the spacer-nodules on their sides. The bricks have standard block paver dimensions of 200mm x 100mm (with a depth of 50mm) and this shape allows a herringbone pattern to be laid.
Not really much to say. good standard block paving for our driveway. Neighbour recomended this infilta one because we live on a floodplain. can’t say how well the draining works yet and hope i dont have to but gives a bit of peace of mind.
Nice grey block paving. Not really dark enough to call charcoal, but looks very contempory. No dips yet!
Agree with other reviewer, not really charcoal but still a nice grey. make them send a sample if you want to check colour. Friend reckoned this type would let us save on home insurance premium
Was advised this by builder because we’re in a floodplain apparently. I was thinking ‘here we go’ as he said it because I thought it’d be a money sink. But wasn’t much more expensive than regular block paving at all and the infilta tech seems logical and gives a bit of piece of mind.
